By road from the A12:

  1. Leave the A12 at junction 29 (signposted Colchester North, Clacton, Harwich)
  2. Continue forward onto the A120 (signposted Clacton, Harwich)
  3. Continue forward onto the A120. Entering Colchester
  4. Bear left onto the A120. Entering Horsley Cross
  5. At Horsley Cross roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A120 (signposted Harwich)
  6. At Ramsey Junction roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Church Hill - B1352 (signposted Clacton)
  7. Continue forward onto Church Hill - B1352. Entering Harwich
  8. At mini-roundabout turn right onto Oakley Road - B1414
  9. At mini-roundabout turn left onto Low Road
  10. Continue forward on Low Road for 500 yards
  11. Turn right into New Hall Lodge Park

By rail:

Trains run hourly from London Liverpool Street Station to Dovercourt Station and the journey time is less than an hour and a half. A taxi from the station will cost less than £3.

By ferry:

  1. Arrive at Harwich International Port from your chosen departure location, then by road
  2. Follow signs towards London (A12), Colchester (A120)
  3. At roundabout take the 2nd exit
  4. At roundabout take the 2nd exit
  5. At St Nicholas roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A120 (signposted London, Colchester)
  6. At Parkeston Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Parkeston Road. Entering Harwich
  7. Turn right onto main road B1352 (mini roundabout)
  8. Turn left into Fronks Road (following signs to seafront)
  9. Turn right into Hall Road continue to the end
  10. Turn right into Low Road
  11. Continue on Low Road for about ΒΌ mile then turn left into NEW HALL LODGE PARK

By air:

From Stansted Airport by rail Stansted Express to London Liverpool Street from there to Dovercourt Station By road:

  1. At Bassingbourn Roundabout take the 1st exit (signposted Colchester A120)
  2. At roundabout take the 2nd exit, then merge onto the A120 (signposted Colchester)
  3. Continue forward onto Braintree Bypass
  4. At Galleys Corner roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A120 (signposted Colchester, Sudbury) Entering Braintree
  5. At Marks Farm roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A120 (signposted Colchester)
  6. Bradwell ("The Swan Inn")
  7. Forward onto Coggeshall Bypass
  8. Continue forward onto Coggeshall Road - A120. Entering Broad Green
  9. Little Tey
  10. Continue forward onto Coggeshall Road - A120. Entering Marks Tey
  11. At mini-roundabout continue forward
  12. At mini-roundabout forward
  13. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A120 (signposted Colchester, Harwich, Stanway, Zoo)
  14. Keep in right hand lanes then continue forward onto Colchester Bypass (signposted Colchester North, Ipswich, Harwich)
  15. Leave the A12 at junction 29 (signposted Colchester North, Clacton, Harwich)
  16. Continue forward onto the A120 (signposted Clacton, Harwich)
  17. Continue forward onto the A120. Entering Colchester
  18. Bear left onto the A120. Entering Horsley Cross
  19. At Horsley Cross roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A120 (signposted Harwich)
  20. At Ramsey Junction roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Church Hill - B1352 (signposted Clacton)
  21. Continue forward onto Church Hill - B1352. Entering Harwich
  22. At mini-roundabout turn right onto Oakley Road - B1414
  23. At mini-roundabout turn left onto Low Road
  24. Continue forward for 500 yards, turn right into New Hall Lodge Park.
