Holiday Lodge FAQs

Please check the list below for some of the questions we get asked about out gated holiday lodges at New Hall Lodge Park.

Q. How long is the park open for?
A. The park opens on 1st March and you can enjoy uninterrupted access to your lodge until 14th January. From the 15th January until 1st March your lodge is available for use each weekend. Owners may visit the park mid-week during the closed period between the hours of 10am until 4pm, but cannot stay overnight.

Q. Why can't Owners live at New Hall Park every day and night of the year?
A. New Hall Lodge is classified as a holiday park which means owners must be registered at a permanent address other than New Hall Lodge Park for the purposes of the electoral role, council tax, water rates and census. This is usually a much cheaper alternative to a residential park classification. This substantial saving allows our owners to afford to purchase another dream home abroad or pocket the difference, if of course, the owner already has a secondary address. New Hall Lodge Park may be used as a postal address.

Q. Is there any security on the park?
A. New Hall Lodge Park is a gated community with electric security gates operated by remote key fob. We have customer care managers living on the park 365 days a year. Each lodge has the latest Ramtech alarm system using heat and movement detectors and fitted with a panic alarm linked directly to customer care managers. Recordable CCTV cameras are being installed.
Q. Will our neighbours be permitted to sublet their homes?
A. No, not at this lodge park.
Q. Can my friends and family come and visit considering the gate is operated by a remote key fob?
A. Yes, of course. There is an intercom system to welcome your visitors and the gates are operated remotely by our trained customer care managers.
Q. What are the lodges like?
A. Beautiful. All of our spacious, award-winning lodges are fitted with fridge/freezers, washing machines, dishwashers and have en-suite shower rooms as well as luxury bathrooms. They come fully furnished with stylish interior design, they really are the height of modern living.
Q. How much are the lodges?
A. All the lodges are 20 feet wide and range in length from 36 feet to 45 feet. The starting price on the current phase of the park is £125,000 and rises up to £189,000.
Q. Are my pets allowed on the park?
A. Yes. If you have a dog we ask that it is kept on a lead if outside of your gated veranda.
Q. Are there any shops/facilities close by?
A. Dovercourt is a busy little town with supermarkets and shops all within a mile of the park. New Hall Lodge Park is located about 400 metres from a blue flag beach with an excellent café, and local swimming pool and sports facilities.
Q. How long is the licence at the park?
A. 99 years.
